<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing top texture for a tire member preventing end distribution from becoming uneven when carrying out sticking vulcanization of the tire member obtained by cutting the top texture, to a green tire. <P>SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the top texture 8 for the tire member is carried out by weaving textile cords 3 arranged in parallel with predetermined spaces, with the woof facing in a substantially right-angled direction to the textile cords 3, to form a textile member 5, and covering the textile member 5 with topping rubber 6. The method includes forming annular grooves 22 at predetermined spaces in the axial direction of a roll, arranging a grooved roll 21 provided with cutting edges 23 projected between the annular grooves 22, in a substantially right-angled direction to the textile cords 3 to allow the textile member 5 to pass through the grooved roll 21, thereby cutting the woof 4 with the cutting edges 23 and fitting the textile cords 3 into the annular grooves 22 to align them, and then conveying the textile cords 3 with the woof 4 cut off into a calender apparatus 1 to carry out topping of rubber. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
