PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a shape detection system of a hose line capable of confirming a shape of the hose line arranged in the sea, and besides confirming the accurate shape even during the feed of oil, or under an unfavorable hydrographic condition. SOLUTION: A sound wave of 5.5 kHz is dispatched from a detection device 20 into the sea, and a sound wave having a prescribed frequency is dispatched from each transponder 10, 11, respectively, according to the sound wave, and a distance to each transponder 10, 11 and a direction in which each transponder 10, 11 is arranged relative to the detection device 20 are detected by the detection device 20. Furthermore, each position coordinate of each transponder 10, 11 is operated at each prescribed time by a control unit 30 based on detection results by the detection device 20, and stored in a storage device 31 at each prescribed time.
