PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a cutting tool holder superior in durability. SOLUTION: The cutting tool holder includes a body part for arranging an insert pocket for installing a cutting insert in an outer peripheral part. The insert pocket has: a support surface for supporting one surface of the cutting insert; a side surface of crossing with the support surface; and a crossing part positioned between the support surface and the side surface. The side surface includes an abutting part of abutting on the cutting insert and an unabutting part unabutting on the cutting insert positioned between the abutting part and the crossing part.
