PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electromagnetic induction type generator which is high in generating efficiency. SOLUTION: This electromagnetic induction type generator is composed of a first tubular member which is made of nonmagnetic material, a coil which is constituted by being wound on the outer face of the first tubular member, and a movable member which consists of a tubular permanent magnet being provided to be reciprocatable in the longitudinal direction of the inner space of the first tubular member. The direction of the magnetization of the permanent magnet is the same as the direction of reciprocation, and the movable member is provided with a through hole which extends in the same direction as the direction of reciprocation.
