PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container capable of easily opening an outlet and improving operability. SOLUTION: The container includes: a flat-shaped container body 2 for storing a particulate content T; and an operating plate 3 peripherally provided on the outside of the peripheral wall portion 6 of the container body 2. On the peripheral wall portion 6, the outlet 62 for taking out the content T is formed. The operating plate 3 is equipped with a pressing portion 30 expanding outward from the container body 2 and capable of turning reversely toward the inside of the container body 2, and a lid portion 31 for opening/closing the outlet 62 linked with a reversely turning operation of the pressing portion 30, and the outlet 62 is opened in the direction parallel to the pressing direction of the pressing portion 30.
