PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile communication system in which a communication time required for poling per mobile station is reduced. SOLUTION: In the mobile communication system configured to start data transmission between a base station B and a plurality of mobile stations M with poling of the base station B, a data transmission/reception control part 114 of the base station B includes a means for preventing an antenna signal which should be added to a communication channel of a communication frame from being added only during poling, and a data transmission/reception control part 102 of the mobile station M includes a counter which is initialized when data addressed to the station itself are received under a waiting reception state and a synchronization word of the communication channel is detected.
