PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reliably remove foreign matters stuck to the surface of a photosensitive drum with a new configuration. SOLUTION: When paper comes into contact with a resist roller 17, circumferential speed of the resist roller 17 is made lower than circumferential speed of a photosensitive drum 7A. Thus, moving speed of the paper becomes lower than the circumferential speed of the photosensitive drum 7A, so that the surface of the photosensitive drum 7A is made to rub against the paper, and drum cleaning is carried out. When the paper comes into contact with a heating roller 11A and a pressing roller 11B, circumferential speed of the heating roller 11A is made higher than the circumferential speed of the photosensitive drum 7A. Thus, the moving speed of the paper becomes higher than the circumferential speed of the photosensitive drum 7A, so that the surface of the photosensitive drum 7A is made to rub against the paper, and the drum cleaning is carried out.
