PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image-forming device which prevents a recording sheet from being wound around a heating member. SOLUTION: A first contact piece 35 of a rocking member 31 is arranged on a conveying path 25 for a paper sheet P. The paper sheet P to be conveyed on the conveying path 25 is brought into contact with the first contact piece 35. When the paper sheet P is brought into contact with the first contact piece 35, the rocking member 31 rocks around a rocking shaft 33, and an optical sensor 32 detects the rocking motion. The paper sheet P whose tip does not separate from the surface of a heating roller 22 and which moves in a direction along the surface of the heating roller 22 together with the surface of the heating roller 22, is brought into contact with s a second contact piece 36 of the rocking member 31. When the paper sheet P is brought into contact with the second rocking piece 36, the rocking member 31 rocks around the rocking shaft 33, and the optical sensor 32 detects the rocking motion.
