<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To facilitate the removal of paper stored after the occurrence of a jam, in a double-sided printer with a storage part. <P>SOLUTION: In the double-sided printer, printing is applied on one surface of the paper P2 by a first printing part, the paper P2 with one surface subjected to printing is carried in turn to the supply position in the storage part 5 by a paper supply means 51, the lower end P2L of each sheet of the paper P2 at the supply position is held in turn by a paper conveying means 53 and carried in turn to a delivery position in the storage part 5 with a prescribed clearance S formed between the lower ends P2L, the holding is canceled in turn at the delivery position, and the paper P2 carried to the delivery position is carried in turn outside the storage part 5 by a paper delivery means 56.
