<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a route determining device capable of determining a route so that delay condition requested by each user may be satisfied, in consideration of fluctuation in actual transmission delay. <P>SOLUTION: The route determining device includes a delay collection unit, a probability density calculation unit, and a route determining unit. The delay collection unit collects delay information on delay with other node devices, measured by each node device. Based on the collected delay information between node devices, the probability density calculation unit calculates probability density of delay between these node devices. When receiving a line request message including two endpoints of a line to establish, a requested delay and a requested probability, the route determining unit calculates a percentile value corresponding to the requested probability, for each of delays between respective node devices from the probability density of each of delays between the respective node devices, and determines a route of the line to be established so that the sum total of calculated percentile values becomes a value equal to or less than the requested delay. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
