<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a frequency at which the same image data are repeatedly transmitted/received between a server device and a reader/writer terminal when distributing information generated by the server device to a mobile terminal through the reader/writer terminal. <P>SOLUTION: In this information distribution system, the R/W terminal 2 reads a mobile terminal ID from the mobile terminal 3 incorporating a non-contact IC card (step S1). The R/W terminal 2 transmits a first information distribution request message 5 to the server device 1 (step S2). In the server device 1, a distribution information generation part 12 generates sales promotion information based on a prescribed condition (step S3), and transmits it to the R/W terminal 2 (step S4).
