<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a large-size light emitting diode element allowing light intensity to be easily adjusted, capable of carrying a large drive current without concentrating the current during high current conduction, and excelling in a luminance characteristic. <P>SOLUTION: In this light emitting diode element including first and second electrodes arranged to interpose a light emitting portion including a luminescent layer, the first electrode includes three pads for wire bonding which make a light emission amount from the luminescent layer adjustable, and the area of a light emitting surface is ≥0.64 mm<SP>2</SP>. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
