Amorphous solid dispersions of 7-chloro-N,N,5-trimethyl-4-oxo-3-phenyl-3,5-dihydro-4H-pyridazino[4, 5-b]indole-1-acetamide

Disclosed is a solid dispersion comprising substantially amorphous 7-chloro-N,N,5-trimethyl-4-oxo-3-phenyl-3,5-dihydro-4H-pyridazino[4,5-b]indole-1-acetamide and a stabilizing polymer; wherein said stabilizing polymer is one or more polymers selected from the group consisting of hydroxypropyl methylcellulose phthalate, cellulose acetate phthalate, hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose acetate succinate, and a polymethacrylate. Also disclosed is the use of the above mentioned solid dispersion in the manufacture of a medicament for the treatment or prevention of a disease or disorder linked to a dysfunction of peripheral-type benzodiazepine receptor, neurodegenerative disease, neuropathy, cancer, tumors, cutaneous stress, rheumatoid arthritis or a cardiac disorder.
