Disclosed is a benzothiazepine of formula II: Wherein: n is 0, 1, or 2; and the substituents are defined in the specification or an enantiomer, diastereomer, tautomer, pharmaceutically acceptable salt, hydrate, solvate, or complex thereof. Also disclosed is a pharmaceutical composition of comprising said benzothiazepine, a method of making said pharmaceutical composition, the use of said benzothiazepine for the manufacture of a medicament for the treatment of a disorder or disease associated with RyR that regulated calcium channel functioning in cells e.g. heart failure and a method of synthesis of said benzothiazepine.
