<p>The essence of the idea which may solve problems with fungal diseases of feet because of wearing watertight and airtight footwear, lies in the supply of fresh air in the area of toes on the feet. The solution is made possible by an air bellows (2) made of very durable and elastic rubber, which is placed on the heel area of a boot. After pressing the foot, the air bellows exerts the function of pump which directs the air flowing into the bellows through small pipes (1) fixed within the rear part of the boot into small bypass pipes (3), sending it thus to all toes on the foot. Ventilation within the boot is carried out without obstacles and permanently because of the steady supply of fresh air into the boot. The solution is particularly applicable in tall watertight and air-impermeable boots in which conditions for development of fungi are created within a very short time.</p> |
