<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an organic electroluminescent element which has high durability, high efficiency, and low driving voltage, and is suppressed in color shift after deterioration of the element. <P>SOLUTION: The organic electroluminescent element includes, between a pair of electrodes, at least one organic layer having a light-emitting layer that contains a light-emitting material. The organic electroluminescent element is characterized by containing a compound that has at least group represented by one of general formulae (7-1) to (7-10) and a phosphorescent metal complex that has a specific structure.
