<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve efficiency of an entire air conditioning system by reducing electric power consumption of fans of air conditioners in an air conditioning area and thus, reduce energy consumption, environmental load and running cost. <P>SOLUTION: This air conditioning system includes: the plurality of air conditioners 2 provided in the air conditioning area 6; air supply ducts 3 connected to the plurality of the air conditioners 2, respectively; and connecting ducts 5 interconnecting the air supply ducts 3. Based on air quantity necessary for the air conditioning area 6, total air conditioning air quantity for supplying air sending amount necessary for the air conditioning area 6 is calculated. Equal air conditioning air quantity is set so that the total air conditioning air quantity is equally allocated to a predetermined number of air conditioners 2, and based on the equal air conditioning air quantity, operating rotational frequency of the fan 2a per one air conditioner 2 is calculated. The predetermined number of the air conditioners 2 is set to be a maximum operating number to equalize the total air conditioning air quantity so that the operating rotational frequency is not smaller than minimum rotational frequency set within a range of rated rotational frequency of one air conditioner 2.
