PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform a proper abnormality remedy by quickly detecting the abnormality in the number of game mediums which are lent out from a game machine, and at the same time, to easily correspond to the change of a consumption tax as well. SOLUTION: This relay apparatus is constituted in the following manners. When a putting-out indication forming section receives a lending-out requirement of game mediums from an inter-machine apparatus, the putting-out indication forming section forms a putting-out indication including a stored putting-out indication number. When a putting-out response comparing section receives a response notification including a putting-out actual record number indicating the number of game mediums which have actually been put out from the game machine which has received the formed putting-out indication, the putting-out response comparing section compares the putting-out actual record number included in the response notification with the putting-out indicating number included in the putting-out indication. An abnormality remedy indicating section indicates the execution of a prescribed abnormality remedy process when the compared putting-out indicating number is different from the putting-out actual record number.
