PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To automatically raise a bicycle rack after the pull-out of the bicycle is completed and prevent the bicycle from being pulled out during the lowering. SOLUTION: This liftable bicycle parking machine includes a first fixed load means (21) having a towing force kept in balance with the weight of the bicycle rack and a second fixed load means (22) having a towing force kept in balance with the weight of the bicycle. When the parking machine is not loaded with a bicycle, the towing force of the first fixed load means is applied to the bicycle rack (3) to lift the bicycle rack along a column (1), and when the parking machine is loaded, the towing force of the first fixed load means and the towing force of the second fixed load means are applied to the bicycle rack to lift the bicycle rack. The parking machine further includes a return control mechanism (6) for raising the bicycle rack automatically by the first fixed load means when the bicycle rack is lowered and the bicycle is pulled out.
