LIGHT EMITTING ELEMENT DISPLAY DEVICE AND LIGHT EMISSION CONTROL METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a light emitting element display device for improving a luminance gradient in real time without enlarging a circuit scale.

SOLUTION: The pixel 300 of an organic EL display device includes: a drive transistor 304; a gradation voltage capacitor 306 connected to the gate side of the drive transistor 304; a reset switch 310 connected between the drain line and the gate line of the drive transistor 304; a light emission control switch 308 connected to the drain side of the drive transistor 304 to control a current flowing to the organic EL element 302; and a reference voltage capacitor 312 disposed between the source line of the drive transistor 304 and an input signal line 270. A potential difference between the input signal line 270 and the gate line of the drive transistor 304 and a potential difference between the input signal line 270 and the source line of the drive transistor 304 is held by the gradation voltage capacitor 306 and the reference voltage capacitance 312.
