PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image blur correction device capable of correcting image blur of an optical image of a subject even when the image blur occurs in a direction around an optical axis, and to provide a lens barrel, an imaging apparatus body or an imaging apparatus using the image blur correction device. SOLUTION: The image blur correction device includes an imaging element part 300 picking up the optical image on the optical axis, and a correction means correcting the image blur of the optical image in the direction around the optical axis. The correction means is configured as a means for correcting the image blur, by arranging an angular velocity sensor 340 in the imaging element part 300, detecting rotation of the imaging element part 300 in the direction around the optical axis by the angular velocity sensor 340, and rotating the imaging element part 300 in the direction to cancel the rotation of the imaging element part 300 based on the detected result by the angular velocity sensor 340.
