<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a multiple wavelength light-emitting element capable of easily making balance adjustment of resonance intensity and directivity among colors. <P>SOLUTION: The light-emitting element includes: a light-emitting means (4) emitting light containing wavelength components to be output; and a half-reflecting layer group (2) where half-reflection layers (2R, 2G, 2B) transmitting part of light having specific wavelengths out of light emitted from the light-emitting means and reflecting the rest sequentially are laminated along a travelling direction of light in correspondence with wavelengths of light to be output. Light emission areas (AR, AG, AB) are established in correspondence with wavelengths of light to be output. At each light-emitting area, a distance (L<SB>R</SB>, L<SB>G</SB>, L<SB>B</SB>) between each reflecting face to light from the light-emitting means side of each half-reflection layer (2R, 2G, 2B) reflecting light output from the respective light-emitting area and one point from an end part of the half-reflection layer group side of the light-emitting layer to the reflection layer is adjusted to be an optical path distance resonating with that light. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
