PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a processor for an endoscope which always displays an image in the process of observation on a monitor even when the operating condition unintendedly changes due to a wrong operation and the like during an endoscopic observation, an endoscopic instrument, an endoscopic filing instrument and an endoscope system. SOLUTION: The processor for an endoscope generating a display screen including a live image by using a signal of the live image acquired from the endoscope and displaying it on the monitor, the endoscopic instrument, the endoscopic filing instrument and the endoscopic system are provided. The processor for an endoscope has a user input receiving means to receive user input, and a display screen generation means to generate a display screen. The processor for an endoscope requests a prescribed plurality of user input when the operating condition changes to an operating condition in which a display screen including the live image is displayed on the monitor to another operating condition in which the display screen including the live image is not displayed on the monitor.
