PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent necessary data from being eliminated by reducing artificial mistakes when an operation file downloaded to a controller needs modification, such as addition, change or elimination. SOLUTION: This engineering work device includes: a JOB file creating section 11 for creating a JOB file including management information of a controller 3; an operation file creating section 13 for creating an operation file for operating the controller on the basis of the JOB file; an operation file uploading section 16 for uploading the operation file in the case of modifying the operation file held by the controller; a file modifying section 18 for retrieving a field to be modified from the uploaded operation file and modifying the field on the basis of the JOB file; and an operation file downloading section 15 for downloading the operation file to a corresponding controller.
