PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an equipment connector reduced in manufacturing cost by insert-molding a metallic reinforcing plate while preventing cracks caused at a synthetic resin covering the reinforcing plate. SOLUTION: The equipment connector includes a metallic reinforcing plate 30 having a terminal insert opening 31 for inserting a terminal fitting; a housing 10 formed by insert-molding a synthetic resin so as to cover the reinforcing plate, and the terminal fitting 11 held by the housing 10. The housing 10 includes an opening 21 for exposing the reinforcing plate or an easy-to-rupture surface 22 at which the thickness of the synthetic resin is reduced. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
