PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To remarkably increase excitement and enjoyment in a game machine such as a Pachinko machine including a variable display device capable of variably displaying a plurality of identification information. SOLUTION: A game board 2 of the Pachinko machine 1 includes an operating port 3 and a jackpot pocket 4, and a display device 13 including a display part 13a is incorporated in the center portion of the game board 2. The display part 13a displays a plurality of symbol columns constituted of a plurality of kinds of symbols. A control device 24 generates a special game state advantageous to a player on condition that the symbols on the display device 13 are finally definitively displayed with a specific stop mode on an effective line. The control device 24 performs display control so that the symbols move in a predetermined display area in at least one period during the variable display of the symbols, and deforms the symbols temporarily in moving them.
