FIELD: information technologies. ^ SUBSTANCE: versions of this invention realisation disclose a method to configure an access point (AP) and to control this access point, and also an access controller (AC). This method includes development of at least one virtual radio interface, every of which is assigned with a standard interface index of a management information base (MIB). Besides, each of at least one virtual radio interface complies with at least one physical radio interface, of at least one access point (AP); a physical radio interface is defined, with a complying virtual radio interface, and whenever required, configuration information is sent to a physical radio interface, and the configuration information of the virtual radio interface is sent to this defined physical radio interface. ^ EFFECT: application of this invention realisation versions makes it possible to use a standard MIB base to control access points AP, which reduces costs to manage AP access points. ^ 20 cl, 6 dwg |
