EXTREME PRESSURE LUBRICANT COMPOSITION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an extreme pressure lubricant composition reducing friction between contact members whose temperature is heightened by frictional heat under high temperature or high load and preventing seizure, and further provide an oily extreme pressure lubricant composition which has high corrosion resistance even when the lubricant remains on a metal surface and does not contain a metal giving adverse influence to environment.

SOLUTION: The oily extreme pressure lubricant composition contains 10 to 90 wt.% base oil having 32 to 1,000 mm2/s kinematic viscosity at 40°C, 1 to 40 mass% niobium compound and 1 to 50 mass% one or more compounds selected from an amide compound, a urea compound and a metal soap.
