<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce an effect of variations in threshold of a transistor electrically connected to a display element arranged in a plurality of pixel circuits in a display device. <P>SOLUTION: The display device has: a transistor 101; a capacitive element, wherein a first terminal of the transistor is electrically connected with one electrode of a capacitive element 102, and a gate of the transistor is electrically connected with the other electrode of the capacitive element 102; and a display element in which a second terminal of the transistor is electrically connected with the first electrode of the display element. A driving method includes the steps of: electrically connecting the gate of the transistor, the first terminal of the transistor and both electrodes of the capacitive element with the first wiring in the first period; electrically connecting the gate of the transistor and the other electrode of the capacitive element with the second wiring in the second period; and electrically connecting the first terminal of the transistor and the one electrode of the capacitive element with the third wiring in the third period. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
