<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To record universal character codes in a recoeding apparatus after properly associating the characters with font data that are actually stored in a printer. <P>SOLUTION: The printer 20 stores a plurality of code pages CP in which a plurality of font data to be used on recording characters in a recording medium are housed, and prepares or updates a character code conversion table 18 in which unicode characters, information showing a code page CP including font data corresponding to the unicode characters and information showing a storage position in the code page CP are associated and stored on the basis of each of the plurality of code pages CP stored in the printer 20. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
