PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lens holder which can be stored in a thin body. SOLUTION: The lens holder incorporates a first cylinder 90 including a plurality of helicoid grooves 92 formed in rotation symmetrical positions and extended from a basic part to an end part and a second cylinder including a plurality of projections to be fitted into a plurality of the helicoid grooves 92, respectively. Each of a plurality of the helicoid grooves 92 is divided into helicoid groove parts at many steps, and the helicoid groove part 95a on a basic part side 90b and the helicoid groove part 95b on an end part side 90a are arranged at an angle for preventing their mutual overlapping. The first cylinder 90 further includes an intermediate peripheral groove 96 and an end part peripheral groove 97. The intermediate peripheral groove 96 connects an end 95s on the end part side 90a of the helicoid groove part 95a on the basic part side 90b with an end 95t on the basic part side 90b of the helicoid groove part 95b on the end part side 90a and guides the projections in the peripheral direction. The peripheral groove 97 in the end part is linked to an end 95u on the end part side 90a of the helicoid groove part 95b on the most end part side 90a of the helicoid grooves 92 at many steps and guides the projections in the peripheral direction.
