PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a power line communication system with a DC power bus. SOLUTION: A power line communication system with the DC power bus (DCPB) includes: a power supply source (PSS); a capacitive smoothing means (CSM) for smoothing a voltage given from the power source (PSS) to the bus (DCPB); at least one distribution box (DB<SB>1</SB>) to which power is fed from the bus (DCPB) and which is dedicated to at least one item of equipment (EQT<SB>1</SB>, EQT<SB>2</SB>); and an electrical current coupler (ECC) for a high frequency data carrier signal connected with the distribution box (DB<SB>1</SB>) and each power line of at least one item of equipment (EQT<SB>1</SB>, EQT<SB>2</SB>), and a data modem (MDM).
