PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an image transmission device changing the communication amount of an image in accordance with communication conditions of a network, to provide a head-mounted imaging device which includes an imaging module for capturing the image in a head-mountable configuration and includes the image transmission device, and to provide a remote work support system employing the imaging device. SOLUTION: The imaging device 1 includes: an imaging unit 20 for imaging an object; a network IF portion 68 for performing communication over a network; and a transmission image control portion 63 for trimming an image of the object with a communicable image size corresponding to communication conditions of the network and causing the network IF portion 68 to transmit the trimmed image of the object.
