PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To generate a natural image, even when the correction content corresponding to a predetermined photographing environment is set, under other photographing environment. SOLUTION: An imaging apparatus 100 is provided with: a gain adjustment part 31 which adjusts gain amounts of an R component and a B component so that an average value matches to a G component among the respective color components of pixels in a gray area included in a captured image; a gain readjustment part 32 which readjusts the gain amounts so as to suppress at least one gain amount of the gain amounts of the R component and the B component adjusted by the gain adjustment part when it is determined that the photographing environment of the image and photographing environment under which the gain amounts should be adjusted are different from each other after adjustment by the gain adjustment part; and an image recording part 9 which records the captured image whose color adjustment is performed with the gain amount readjusted by the gain readjustment part.
