<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a screen transition method for a hierarchically structured display device, which is effective when an operator recognizes a switch operation condition for a first switch to perform a switch operation necessary for screen transition of a display screen. <P>SOLUTION: A processing step is executed to determine whether a switch operation condition 9 of operation condition information 10 output from an operation condition output means 11 to be recognized by the operator matches the switch operation of the first switch 4.
