摘要 <p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the problems wherein in a satellite tracking antenna device with an in-phase synthesizing circuit for dividing a plane antenna into sub-arrays, performing in-phase synthesis, and tracking a satellite, a sub-array interval is required to be reduced in order to widen an electronic tracking angle range, and in this case, the whole number of elements is required to be reduced, or the number of elements in each sub-array is required to be reduced by increasing the number of sub-arrays, but in the former method, the whole gain is reduced and desired reception sensitivity cannot be acquired, and in the latter method, the number of in-phase synthesizing circuits is increased to increase cost greatly. <P>SOLUTION: An amplitude taper enhanced in proportion to the nearness to a center between sub-arrays in a phase control surface is given relative to an excitation distribution of each element in the plane antenna. Hereby, a phase center of each sub-array approaches a sub-array on the opposite side gradually, and thereby a distance between each phase center can be shortened, and the electronic tracking angle range can be widened. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p>
