PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a transportation device which facilitates turnining of the transporting posture during transportation of packages. SOLUTION: In the transportation device 100, a pair of guide mechanisms 240 and 241 are installed on the transporting surface of a transporting passage, and prescribe the transporting positions of the packages 110f and 110g. The pair of guide mechanism 240 and 241 are moved on the transporting surface by a movement mechanism 251. Of a first posture of the packages in which the packages 110a-110e are transported in their longitudinal direction arranged along a transportation direction, and a second posture of the packages in which the packages 110f and 110g are transported in their lateral direction arranged in the transportation direction, the posture is turned from one to the other, or from the other to the one by a turning device 211.
