PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a secondary battery in which interference occurring between an insulated wing portion of a polymer cell and a top case assembled into this is avoided and thereby, a manufacturing process of an inner pack can be stabilized without giving an effect to the appearance dimension of the inner pack. SOLUTION: The secondary battery is provided with a polymer cell in which an insulated wing portion is provided in a lead tab and a top case which is assembled in the polymer cell and has an evasion portion provided so as to avoid interference with the insulated wing portion. Thereby, interference caused between the insulated wing portion of the polymer cell and the top case assembled into this in which the appearance dimension is irregular and setting of reference is hard due to the problem of the manufacturing process and control can be avoided. Furthermore, without giving an effect to the appearance dimension of the inner pack, the manufacturing process of the inner pack can be stabilized by this, and reliability and competency of the inner pack can be secured.
