<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reduce a processing load applied on each receiving terminal, and to suppress an increase of a buffer size which is secured at the receiving terminal. <P>SOLUTION: A unicast redistribution device 3 receives unicast image data and rewrites a packet header for multicasting or unicasting via a next network, and after that, the device checks a packet sequence of the received packet. When a received packet is of an unexpected packet sequence, the device temporarily stores the packet in a buffer, and when a packet sequence of the stored packet is associated with a packet sequence of a packet received later, the device sorts the packets in a packet sequence order to redistribute them. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
