<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motor which reduces the stand-by current of the motor in a compact and simple configuration. <P>SOLUTION: A stand-by current reduction circuit 13 is provided in a current supply route between a control circuit 5 driving an inverter circuit 4 and a control power supply supplying current to the control circuit 5. When a motor body 2 stops driving, the stand-by current reduction circuit 13 cuts-off the current supply route.
