<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To solve the following problems: if luminance is corrected for each of pixels, image quality is deteriorated owing to erroneous correction, and a large memory capacity is required for storing input data for each of the whole pixels. <P>SOLUTION: The display device has: an organic EL element 1 disposed for each of the pixels; a driving part 2 to supply a current corresponding to an input signal to the organic EL element 1; a control part 3 to control the driving part 2; and a correcting part 5, wherein, every time when an integrated lighting time reaches a predetermined time, or after a lapse of the predetermined time, correction to reduce a duty ratio of the whole pixels is performed while keeping supply current to the organic EL element 1 in one frame period, constant. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT |
