<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide electronic equipment which suppresses power consumption during charging a battery as much as possible and can start to charge the battery in a short period of time. <P>SOLUTION: The electronic equipment includes the battery, a storage medium, a connecting means connectable to an external device, and a control means for controlling its own equipment, the connecting means can correspond to a bus power function for receiving power supply from the connected external device, and a mass storage function for receiving reference in the storage medium from the connected external device, and the control means makes a range for performing an initialization operation in its own equipment different between when the connecting means corresponds to the bus power function and when the connecting means corresponds to the mass storage function. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
