<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device and method for detecting an actual touch point or ghost point in a multi-touch input device. <P>SOLUTION: Measurement of electric characteristic of a conductor selected on a first axis and measurement of electric characteristic of a conductor selected on a second axis are simultaneously performed, and these measurement results are compared to each other, whereby an actual touch point of points where a plurality of conductors disposed along the first axis intersects with a plurality of conductors arranged along the second axis is determined. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
