PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a semiconductor device that improves relative precision of a resistive element by reducing arrangement region area of the resistive element used for an analog circuit, and to provide a method of designing a layout of the semiconductor device. SOLUTION: The semiconductor device has: transistor elements (a transistor element Q1 and a transistor element Q2) arranged in parallel in one direction; and resistive elements (a resistive element R1 and a resistive element R2) formed on the transistor elements with an interlayer insulating film (an interlayer insulating film 14) interposed therebetween.
