PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an article for use in treating a textile product, capable of preventing wrinkle and odor formed in a textile product in a process of drying the same by a drier, and of making a textile product highly slidable to an iron. SOLUTION: The article for use in treating a textile product, constituted of nonwoven fabric whereon a composition of an agent of treating a textile product is deposited, to be used upon drying the textile product by a dryer, which composition includes (A) a specific aliphatic compound, (B) a nonionic surfactant of an ethylene oxide addition type, (C) a fragrance, (D) at least one species selected from BHT, BHA, and propyl gallate, and (E) at least one species selected from HEDP, aminotrimethylenephosphonic acid, phytic acid, an aminocarboxylic acid, and a salt thereof, is characterized in that the composition includes the component (A) in an amount of not less than 60 mass% and not more than 95 mass%, the component (B) in an amount of not less than 0.1 mass%, and the component (C) in an amount of not less than 0.01 mass%, provided that the aggregate amount of the components (B) to (E) is not more than 40 mass%.
