PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the movement of a carrier member for conveying a recording medium from being hindered. SOLUTION: A voltage is applied between electrodes 62 and 63 so that printing paper placed on a carrier belt facing a top surface of an adsorbing platen 60 can be adsorbed on the carrier belt. Low-resistance members 66 and 67 are further superposed on top surfaces of surface layer materials 64 and 65 which are superposed on the electrodes 62 and 63, respectively. Thus, since an electric charge is hardly accumulated between the adsorbing platen 60 and the carrier belt, the carrier belt is hardly adsorbed on the adsorbing platen. COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT
