PURPOSE: A hydroelectric power generation system is provided to produce electricity from the kinetic energy of valley water, water falls, or the water of a reservoir by a hydroelectric power generator using a turgo turbine. CONSTITUTION: A hydroelectric power generation system comprises a pipeline and a hydroelectric power generator(100). One end of the pipeline is communicated with a water reservoir facility while the other end is piped downward so as to transfer the stored water downward. The hydroelectric power generator is installed lower than the water reservoir facility and driven by the head of the water dropped along the pipeline, thereby producing electricity. |
