PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide grease excellent in low frictional property and low abrasion property. SOLUTION: The grease composition comprises a disk-like compound, preferably at least one selected from among disk-like compounds represented by general formula (1), and a thickening agent. In the formula, D is a cyclic group linkable to m pieces of side chains; Xs are each independently a single bond or a divalent linking group selected from among an NR<SP>1</SP>group (wherein R<SP>1</SP>is a hydrogen atom or a 1-30C alkyl group), oxygen atom, sulfur atom, carbonyl group, sulfonyl group or a combination thereof; Rs are each independently, substituted or unsubstituted, an alkyl group, alkenyl group, alkynyl group, aryl group, heterocyclic group, halogen atom, hydroxy group, amino group, mercapto group, cyano group, sulfide group, carboxy group or salt thereof, sulfo group or salt thereof, hydroxyamino group, ureido group or urethane group; and m is an integer of 2-11.
