<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To clearly inform a user of defective information on each indoor unit and outdoor unit connected with a multi-type air conditioner. <P>SOLUTION: An air-conditioner includes: the indoor unit 1 for the multi-type air-conditioner including a control part 7 housing a microcomputer for controlling start/stop of operation; the outdoor unit 11 for the multi-type air-conditioner that is connected with the inside unit and includes a control part 9 housing a microcomputer for controlling an operation speed of a motor; an operation part 8 that operates temperature setting or air volume setting; a display panel 6 that displays the current temperature setting or an air volume setting state; and a buzzer generating part 5. A centralized controller 4 connected with the indoor unit and the outdoor via an electric wire 10 includes a defect notifying buzzer function that generates buzzers with different tone lengths according to a defective content or a checking content from the buzzer generating part 5 based on information on the defect or check that have occurred in the inside and the outside unit. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2011,JPO&INPIT</p> |
