PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an efficient manufacturing method of purified tocopherol inhibited from coloration with the lapse of time. SOLUTION: The manufacturing method of purified tocopherol comprises a step of simple distillation of raw material tocopherol under a condition of a maximum column top temperature of 240°C or lower and/or a distillation time of at most 200 min.
